What Are the Three Components of Communication?

Communication is an essential part of life. In fact, communication has been a key ingredient in the evolution of all communication systems. The process of communication has developed throughout the history of mankind and has developed in various formats depending on the societal circumstances. Communication is very important in business, politics, law, and medicine. Businesses require a wide variety of tools and techniques in order to survive and thrive in a competitive environment, whereas governments make their rule by creating laws and institutions that guarantee citizens’ rights to participate in the political process and have their say in matters that affect their daily lives.

We are constantly communicating to each other, either verbally or non-verbally. Communication is a complex process that takes different forms in different environments. It is an essential tool for social interaction. Communication is used in all human interaction and is a basic necessity for survival. We use communication skills in everyday life and communicate to each other through speech and writing, through touch, through images, and through our emotions.

Communication can be used as a tool to express our ideas and as a way to elicit reactions from people whom we interact with on a day-to-day basis. Nonverbal communication, on the other hand, is the art of understanding and using nonverbal cues that are not easily seen or heard but which nonetheless convey crucial information about a person or an event to another person. These cues include the facial expressions, body language, and tonality of a person that he or she breathes out or shows when they are happy, sad, frightened, angry, or even curious or are relaxed. Examples of nonverbal communication cues include facial movements, hand positions, and body language.

In communication, there are two kinds: direct and indirect communication. Direct communication is communication where the sender of the message and the receiver of the message both understand what it is that they are communicating about. Indirect communication happens when there is some misunderstanding between the sender and the receiver of the message. For instance, if I am selling something to a customer and the customer gets confused as to what I am selling, the situation is termed as a miscommunication. The outcome of the misunderstanding could either be that the person bought the wrong thing, or they may not get back to me because they think that I did not mean anything by what I was saying.

When it comes to communication, it is important to know the difference between miscommunication and misunderstanding. By knowing the difference, you will be able to use communication in the best possible way and also understand how to use communication effectively to solve your purpose in the most effective way. The Eight Essential Components of communication help us understand the difference better. By understanding these eight essential components, you will be able to better understand what is meant by each component. You will also be able to communicate better with people.

The first component is what is known as the Verbal component. In simple terms, verbal communication is used to communicate with people. It does not have to involve any kind of body movements or expressions. Most effective communicators pay great attention to the verbal communication and try to make sure that their message reaches its target.

The second component is the Audiological component and this refers to the meaning that is communicated by the sound of a speaker’s voice. For instance, when a person speaks, his tone of voice can convey a lot about his meaning. In public speaking, one has to use appropriate language that is understandable to most people. There are many rules that govern proper verbal communication. It is best for an individual to learn these rules and follow them very strictly.

The third component is Interpersonal communication and this refers to the feelings and state of the sender and the receiver in relation to each other. It is also called interpersonal communication. Basically, this refers to the communication skills that an individual has to have in order to be able to communicate effectively with others. It does not matter what is said or what is meant. Only effective communication between the sender and the receiver is beneficial for the relationship between them.
