I decided to take a philosophy course in order to increase my chances of admission into a good college. The main entrance requirement to most colleges is a Bachelors degree. Since this qualification is not offered online, it was the logical choice for me to enroll in an online graduate program. I have taken several online classes and loved them. However, the Bachelors was the only degree that the college wanted me to have in order to accept me as a student.
There are a lot of reasons why someone should take a philosophy exam for their degree. For one thing, it will give you the ability to write original essays on the topics you are studying. This is important because you will be required to write original opinions on a wide variety of topics that are usually debated in college classes. If you are not capable of writing original opinions, then you probably will not be able to write many original essays for the rest of your college career. Furthermore, if you are unable to write original thoughts, you will have little chance of being able to compete with other students for a teaching position at the college.
In addition to having the opportunity to write original essays, you will also have to take the main philosophy class. This class is generally required for anyone who is going to be accepted into an undergraduate program at a traditional college. The reason that this course is mandatory is that most colleges require a minimum GPA in order for them to give you an acceptance letter. If you do not meet the minimum GPA requirement, you may find yourself being dropped from the college and dropping out of the college program.
Now, if you are not in a rush to take this course, you still could opt to take it on your own time. That would be ideal, except I have heard of many college professors being difficult to get along with. As a result, it can take quite a while to figure out an easy way to approach the professor and get through the assignments for the course. Therefore, I recommend that you take the test before you get into any arguments with your professor.
Of course, you will not be able to take the philosophy course by taking it on your own time. You have to be in class all of the time. This can be difficult, but it’s necessary if you want to succeed in the course. One thing that I recommend is finding a good college that is located in your area. This will save you a tremendous amount of time driving all around campus to take this test.
When looking for a college to take your philosophy exam from, there are a few things to look for. One of those things is how many students attend the college. If you are taking this course for a standardized test, like CLEP testing, then you need to make sure that the class is large enough to accommodate your needs. If your test is for a nontraditional licensing exam, like CPA, then you need to make sure that the course is taught in a way that will allow you to learn on your own without having to rely on the teacher to always be available.
My third tip for finding the right college to take my philosophy exam for me would be to talk to any friends or contacts that you have that are involved in an online college or program. They may know one of the colleges in your area that you should avoid. And, more importantly, they may be able to steer you to one of their top colleges and tell you all about the classes and the atmosphere that they have. Trust me; this will pay off big time when it comes to taking your philosophy exam and passing it with flying colors.
