Data Mining For Business Analytics is a study involving large volumes of data. To analyze this data, one would need a considerable amount of time to pour through it one by one. And this may not be possible if you are just starting off in this field. To make your way through the mountains of data, you will require formal training from professors or even taking university examinations. And if you do not have time to take up this study, you can always hire someone to do university examination for you and give you some tips on how to do the analysis for you.
So now that I am in college and thinking of taking up Data Mining For Business Analytics, what should I study? First of all, I should choose an area that interests me. My major at university is Information Systems, so I thought that I should study Computer Networks and Software Engineering. After all, these were areas that interest me in high school so I thought that I should take my test from there. But I discovered that there are so many other subjects to choose from that there is a lot to learn and master.
My favorite area right now is Product Analysis. This is because I have some free time to devote to the subject matter. The topics are simple, and the syllabus will help me build my own skills over time. And believe me, there is plenty of time to invest in a proper program before you take your university examination. By the time you are through with this course, you will know exactly how to use database analysis, relational and statistical analysis, and more.
Next, I decided that I would like to learn how to execute a data mining strategy or process. While it will cost me some money and take some time to learn how to do this, I think that it will be worth it. After all, I can learn the basics and then implement the strategy using supervised sub-processes.
When I took this course, I also decided that I would like to learn how to do data mining for business. This involves finding profitable trends out of a large amount of un-seasoned data. This is not too hard if you have the right tools to use. But there are software programs out there that will cost quite a bit of money that would like to sell you the tools so that you can also do this for free.
So, now I am choosing what courses to take. The first one that I chose was Introduction to Data Mining for Business Analytics. It was provided by Oracle training center. It was okay, but again, I did not like the fact that it cost almost $200 and that I had to buy the software. This is a waste of money and time if you are just starting to learn how to do data mining for business analytics.
The second one that I would like to mention in my article is Oracle vIA Specialist 4.5 Expert Training. Again, this was an excellent learning package. The instructor was a former employee of Oracle who took quite some time to explain the different concepts to me. This helped me tremendously to be able to do the data mining for business analytics that I would like to be able to do for my own company.
